Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) APIA U: Leadership 101
Organization of Chinese Americans (OCA) APIA U: Leadership 101 will be hosted by the University of Missouri - Columbia. On October 28-29, 2006, Asian Pacific Islander American college students will engage in an interactive college leadership program focused on self-awareness, team-building, and direct action organizing. The training is free and includes breakfast, lunch, and a light reception on Saturday. College students around the Midwest region are invited. November 12-13 at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has opened the Asian American Cultural Center.
Every year, the Organization of Chinese American host leadership training for college students across the nation. This year, the Midwest regional leadership training program will be right here at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. So, what exactly is APIA U: 101? It is an interactive college training program, which involve hands-on exercises, small group discussions, and presentations led by two qualified facilitators.
